Algomystic

ALGOMYSTIC is a digital artist, inventor and software developer. He also does traditional art like painting and drawing but most of the time he finds it easier to write a computer program that makes the image rather than drawing it. He works mainly with abstract generative art, glitch art and some surreal, perhaps disturbing stuff. The images are most often representations of his feelings that he cannot otherwise express. He also likes to explore novel technology and its potential for art.

Please remember me soon I may not

The dramatic title is not necessarily about me, but more generally about self-transformation. This work involves a new stage of my long-running generative “swirly” series where I can now make videos of the swirly forms as they move. I wrote a lot of new code to make it happen.

The choice is an illusion

The title of this work is from the movie The Matrix Resurrections. As usual, I’m not sure of the underlying feelings that made me make this. But the animation resonated with me and so did the title. This work involves a new stage of my long-running generative “swirly” series where I can now make videos of the swirly forms as they move. I wrote a lot of new code to make it happen.

Deco Mandala

This work is a continuation of the series “Sacred Geometry”. It’s procedural / generative / 3D code art with some manual adjustments and re-timing. With generative work the result is kind of a surprise each time, this one reminded me of the geometric patterns of Art Deco so I took it further in that direction. 30 second seamless loop. 3312 x 936 pixels at 30 fps.

Astral Geometry

Astral Geometry is an impression of the astral dimension where light beings can be perceived. Procedural volumetrics. 2560 x 1440 pixels, 30 fps, seamless loop.
