"I am a data scientist and a generative artist. I play with data and code, always in collaboration with a machine. This is me: hex6c. I am associate professor of Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics of the University of Udine, in the north-east part of Italy. I have a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Udine and a Post Doc in Logic at the University of Amsterdam. I teach Data Science and since 2018 I introduced in the syllabus of my courses the topics of blockchain and crypto assets. Since 2018 I am also a generative and crypto artist. I mainly create with Processing, a modern Prometheus for coding within the context of the visual arts. All my digital artworks are minted as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on several digital galleries, including SuperRare, KnownOrigin, Art Blocks and Hic et Nunc." Hex6c
The constellation Aquarius begins the second phase of winter. In the soil, seeds open up, emit roots, and assimilate the nutrients that rainfall carries by filtering through the layers of humus. The small, well-defined, pliant plant prepares to burst to the surface. This process is analogous to the characteristics of the sign. The individual evolves thanks to the ability to see far, to absorb, transforming in an alchemical, original and rational way what the environment offers. Growth, individual and collective freedom are achieved by abandoning the memories of past lives, old patterns, conditioning. The charm of the Aquarian vision is rendered by the graphism of turquoise blue waves that seem to come from space, from some distant galaxy. We hear their call, a sound code that changes our state of consciousness. We are waiting to see a being transformed into pure light emerge from the white glow. Faced with something completely new, we can only abandon our fears and climb the ladder of faith.
