An experimental attempt to commemorate Bitcoin's 5000 day anniversary. From the genesis block on Jan. 3, 2009, until Sep. 12, 2022, the network has functioned almost without a hiccup for 13.69 years, or 753,782 blocks, on average confirming a transaction block every 10 minutes. The artwork is made up of 5000 pixels as data blocks, each data block shows the date and high daily price for BTC/USD pair, scrapped and aggregated from the earliest available sources, representing and documenting each day bitcoin was online.
