Jordan Harwick

Jordan Harwick is a psychical and digital artist based in Chicago, Illinois. Self-taught, she started painting in college as a means of expressing emotion. In her work she creates vibrant images of people and places while also experimenting with abstraction. You will find a common theme of bright colors and passionate brush strokes throughout her works. Her journey into digital art has just recently begun in 2021 after discovering NFTS. She has been exploring animating psychical works to try and bring them to life. Since then her art has been exhibited in cities across America including Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and virtually in the Metaverse. The artist's goal is to help open the door to discussing emotions that can be difficult to talk about.

Misunderstood

Misunderstood is a visual representation of what it feels like to be judged by others that don’t really know you. Today's society is all about putting yourself out there online, but how many people really show their true self? We see what people want to show us and from that we form opinions about them. In a perfect world we would all be able to be our true selves without having to worry about what other people think of us. I challenge all of my viewers to stay open minded and not feel like they have to be someone else for other people to like them
